People who are in Florida, what do you think?

I think that my backyards been cleared up, weve put up 3 wooden boards on 3 small windows and will be putting up metal sheets on all the other windows tomorrow. Thats what i think.....And also its a bummer.....5 day weekend yet ill be in my house....YA!

Hurricanes can suck it. My first memory of the Gulf Coast was a hurricane that came through after me living here for 6 months that knocked down 7 trees in my yard, 1 fell on the side of my house, impaled my yard with debris, out of power for 1 1/2 weeks, and made everything F*CKING miserable. Hurricanes can kiss my ass.

im now taking bets on whether or not my house will get owned... back in andrew we didnt put shutters up.. all we did was tie the porch roof down cuz it was made up of plastic panels, put the boat next to my window, put the car next to the huge window in the kitchen and pray... and i lost like 5 huge as hell trees in my backyard but everything else lived... house was scratchless... since then weve pretty much done nothing for any of the hurricanes since then and this house is still scratchless i am considering it unkillable... its really old, and we have a fireplace. windows everywhere, 2 large palm trees in the front, a crappy wooden fence around the back, a shed in the back, all of it is up for betting whether they will get owned or not. i wont do anything to the house except cut the coconuts down off the palm tree and possibly tie the porch roof down again.

Im in south Alabama so Frances better come this way or i will unleah my powers of Heavy Metal! Frances doesnt scare me. Just like the Scorpions song says "Rock You Like a Hurricane".

Cerberus, you should consider selling some of that stuff on ebay before it gets owned.

Hurricanes are scary after first, but once you are in it, you get a sudden rush of excitment, like your in a movie kinda thing.

The rush really kicks inwhen you see ur neighbors flying around.

Well so far the Hurricane doesnt look like a threat but should be due maybe tonite, early saturday or mid afternoon saturday i think. Im inland so im not gonna be hit hard, just alot of floods, i saw some neighbors who havent put up shudders yet, ive poked a small hole in the shudders, if i see some neighbors flying ill go outside and take a quick pic, and ill try to get pics of the aftermath to show here.......lil scared though cause if my neighbors die and Corpse see's their corpses im thinking he might wanna hump them. :D

this is the shittest hurricane ive ever seen... its such a disgrace... even if its like 5x bigger than andrew... and the news people are such pu$$y there all like on the beach like in there coats like "wow its so incredibly windy and dangerous here and behind us are some crazy surfers and people walking there dogs, and i told them they should go inside before they get hurt but they told me to f off"

finnaly i have power this hurricane sucked all it did was blow down huge trees i went down to my local golf course and it was flooded me and my homies decided to have a fun game of 3 foot water football funnest game you could play with 40 mph winds hopefully everyone made it safe ne one have ne other stories about there labor day weekend

Damn that F*CKING bitch Frances. Now is when I get back my damn power. It was out for 3 days so I had to sleep at my cigarette-smoke infested grandfathers house doing nothing but sitting outside getting smacked by leaves. The sad part is, I am too tired to play CS all night to make up from the 3 nights without my beloved computer. That bastard Ivan better not come over here.
