 my shit is broke :( well my problem is that i m getting 100 choke no matter what i droped my updaterate and my rate my cmdrate but nothing is helping. But itseems to choke out with sound,but i hade no problem yesterday after noon my ping keeps going from like 50 or less then it is jummping up to 200 then 400 then to 700 800 i cant play at all i start walkin and i ping out help me plz.Im running out of ideas.

Disable any programs you have running in the background. (esp filesharing, im, windowsupdate)
Do a virus/spyware scan.
If you're on DSL, check your filters and make sure none of them have gone bad.
If you're on wireless, lower your frequency, get a signal booster or go hardwired.
Play in the elite server.

thanks gman but i have allready done all that but i did not have a problm till yesterday i insalled a hardware sound card then i removed it with out uninstall could that be it?

It's your modem or internet provider. I had the same prob. for a month, but I dropped DSL, and got Cable, and no more problems.

well lol my dads comp does not have any problems and right now i got us set up in lan and it is cable
