Fanfiction forums used to be a place where people would choose a book....(now hold on...I know reading is something that most fuckheads can't do anymore....but thats ok...because our scociety has decided that paying taxes is more important then being productive).....and within a forum they continued the story through new characters until they closed the website about 5 years ago
