Post Ram...Timings
could somone explain to me waht the x-x-x-x numbers represent.

I plan on gettin Corsair XMS 512mb for 70$

the timing is 3-3-3-8, I was just wondering if I could get somthing faster for less. And the nf4 mobos are picky about the type of ram so thats why i was geting this one

go to mobo website and they should have a list of compatible memory... corsair is almost always a safe bet... the timings arent as important as they used to be, i got caught up in the hype and spent mad money on my memory, its the best corsair had at the time but i didnt need it... as long as your FSB is 800 u should be fine, your not gonna need anything faster...

are you adding this memory with the memory you alrdy have or replacing it???

SLI is only if you intend on using dual videocards... thats a shit load of money... two F*CKING videocards... anyone who wants dual videocards is gonna spend at least 500 on videocards alone... nice if u have it... but SLI DOESNOT provide twice the performance... the best i've seen is about 30% increase performance... not worth it IMO...

where are you buying your hardware?? my suggestion is to buy from either

www.newegg.com

www.zipzoomfly.com

between those two you'll find the best price / shipping/ customer service you can find...

i'm curious... can you tell me exactly what your buying..
