Hi... interesting -I love computer related problems.... (But that's way I am)
1. Try w using the ping command towards your DNS servers (you have 2)
If you've done this previously, compare with those results. (You should have like up to 20 ms towards your dns servers.
2. Is there any program, here in sweden its called "tptest". What i does is that it can measure your speed, both down and up -from your computer. (It measures both UDP and TCP speeds).
3. Go to
www.speedguide.net and download the sw called TCP optimizer (its found on the left/ you may have to scroll down.
Run this program, (if your using MS XP) and choose the type of connection you have.
Its never wrong to get to know your computer and Internet connection.
'cause when problem arises -its nice to have something to compare with (previoulsy results...)
I dont know it helps or what. If you have any more problems let me know and perhaps I can assist you more direct -HEY I'm almost always online.
I can be reached at msn (
gbgoran@hotmail.com) or xfire (gbgoran)
