Post Laptop input game lag
Just got a new laptop to play at work and it seems like my in-game input is slow and laggy, any one else have this and fixed it or know of a fix? I don't think it's a performance issue because I average about 130fps on most maps.

The specs are much better than my desktop. It is running in full performance mode instead of power savings mode, right? I have seen some laptops where even under full performance mode the cpu is underclocked. Other than driver updates (I've seen dramatic performance increase from getting the right updated drivers for things ranging from sound cards to the track pad), the only thing I can think of is some programming running in the background (maybe updates).

Yeah, I put it on performance every time I load any game(even 1.6) and all fps games that timing actually matters I can notice the problem. I've even tried to use the built in overclocking thing and put it to the super-extreme-mega-turbo-wichin-pad-pwnalln00bs mode. I'm not completely sure it's a laptop problem, I think it might be a win7 problem.

It happens ;) I've made it a habit to upgrade every driver every time i do any kind of hardware change.

I'm good about updating drivers when I change hardware, but with the laptop it didn't even cross my mind.
