program installation errors
i just installed windows 7 last week sometime. and i have not had many problems with installing anything except for one program, iTunes. it gave me an error code, it's relatively long, but i have a URL to a windows help forum, with the problem and a way to fix it.
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/For ... 98bd80f6bfnow i did all that but at the part where it says to open up the services application and open windows modules installer, then click run, then apply and ok. when i clicked start it gave me the error code: "error 126: the specified module could not be found"
so i searched again to find a fix to this problem. and i found it here:
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/For ... 10cbcbf813i went with method #2 involving the command prompt and putting in certain commands. it started to work out fine, but when i entered to the second command, " REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL", it gave me the error "the module "WUAUENG.DLL" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005"
but for that one i could not find a fix, and it seems the further down the line i go, i just keep running into more and more errors. i just want a music player that is capable of updating my iPod. i don't know why this has to be a such a F*CKING fiasco other than the fact that it seems microsoft cannot make a stable operating system on the first try, it takes them forever to make seemingly stable and work properly.
any help at all, or even another program/music player capable of putting songs onto my ipod would be wonderful.
thank you n00bfest.
