Re: think pc is running too high
Take off the side of the tower case and get at least 8 inches on the sides, my old one did it all the time and that was the simplest fix for me

Re: think pc is running too high
hell yes. Water cooled is awesome. I have a corsair H100 and over clocked my comp from 2.66 ghz to 3.5 ghz and it runs lower than your comp is running now. LOL

Re: think pc is running too high
If you want a temporary fix for a little until then. Grab a bucket of ice and put it infront of the intake fan. It works better than nothing.

Re: think pc is running too high
what processor? guessing amd, any cores unlocked?
spend 20 bucks on a cooler master hyper 212, F*CK I probably have one if I ever was to dig through shit.
couple of my computers are water cooled. Really, now a days the all in one units works fine, so like a corsair h100 or whatever they are called are easy as F*CK and perform pretty well. But truth be told, unless you are going apeshit and building a custom water loop, just buy the hyper 212 and never worry about it again.

Re: think pc is running too high
your temps are still in what i consider the "normal range" with stock cooling and limited fans i would say there is not a whole lot you can do. I would suggest investing in more fans Or if your case does nto support them i would buy a new case with more fan support. Also taking the side panel off can help but only a bit. Also if you have not cleaned it out it might be a good time to get a can of Pc duster and spray all the dust out. The other option is to install a liquid cooling system but once again that will be costly and likely require a case upgrade aswell. and if your one of those people that has the computer on 24/7 i would say shut that F*CKER off when its not being used.
ON THE SIDE NOTE PLEASE USE THE APPROPRIATE FORUMS (we have a tech section for a reason)

Who the F*CK looks all the way down there??! You would get more of a response doing it the way he's doing it.

Got 2 on the front, 2 on the side and 1 on the back. The top is where my liquid cooled unit is mounted with 2 120mm fans. It is also very quiet.

I can't imagine your processor working up more heat than mine does. My house temp right now is 82 degrees:

Re: think pc is running too high
watercooling is not necessary. It takes too much wattage from your powersupply. sometimes you need a separate powersupply for that shit. Simply buy 2-3 more fans and increase the airflow. Dangerous computer temps are 75+ degrees Celsius. More than 50 is degrading to the processor over time but other than that you are fine. I have a 120mm fan that came stock with my case and that shit is boss.

Re: think pc is running too high
If that just started happening: 1) check the CPU utilization and what processes are running in the background 2) get the Dust-Off and clean your PC If it's a permanent situation: 1) thermal grease might not be correctly applied 2) get better heat sink and fans. I put these in my PC and so far I'm happy. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835220033 + http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835553002 on my CPU - 2 x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835553005 in my front panel - 1 x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835553002 in back panel
