 Sleeping Dogs
A buddy just let me borrow it. Game is so good. Miles ahead of the most recent Grand Theft Auto installment. Only complaint: it's short. Other than that, you guys should try it out. Pulled me off CS:GO for 4 straight days.

 Re: Sleeping Dogs
I played the demo and I am in love with it. It's a PC port done right. It's on my to-get list.
I wouldn't go as far as saying it's better than the most recent GTA installments....IV was a nice serious sandbox and a great opener for GTA in this gaming era and the two DLC were fantastic.

 Re: Sleeping Dogs
The hand to hand combat system is far superior to GTA. The way shooting your guns works is also superior, although very small part of the game. Most of the combat, even end game, is hand to hand. Driving is a more arcade style, which I hated at first, but actually enjoy more than GTA. The story is compelling and actually had me caring about the characters and what happens to them. The map/waypoint interface was also far superior. You mean I can just push 1 button in game and it cycles through all of the main objectives globally, as well as any side missions that are within a reasonable distance, changes my waypoint to said mission and provides on screen turning arrows at intersections? How convenient.
Also, gaining levels and choosing which side of the "skill tree" to develop first is a nice addition.

Sorry Commie, I still don't see this being close to being superior to GTA in any sort of way. Sure the hand to hand is better but I really got bored and agitated with it after awhile, even in the demo.

 Re: Sleeping Dogs
I'm hoping the more in depth unarmed combat influences rockstar a little bit... at least. I also liked the arcady style driving. meh. Game is way to short.

 Re: Sleeping Dogs
I had to watch the commercials a million times and I was so turned off by the shit voice acting that I want to burn every copy of this game and everyone who ever bought it.
