I did play online game since Quake 2 (Missing this game so much Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_32 ) and I wonder how many time cs:s can hold on so many player like it is at this time before we see a decline. I know it's not for tommorow but in 2 or 3 year, did you think this game will still hot or not? .... I hope so !

By the way, if anyone here would like to play Quake2 deathmatch or ctf again, msg me and we should organize something for sure! (Best maps ever made!! The Edge and Warehouse...damn!!!)

i agree with State; 1.5 was definitely better than 1.6... seemed like something new happening all of the time in the servers I played in (new maps and mods and whatnot). Source is starting to seem a bit stagnant to me, not that it isn't still fun.

I didn't get steam until HL2 came out, But i had Counter-strike, HL, TFC and OF on retail cd, and still do. I got them when 1.5 came out. I used to play with the PIKER clan and many other servers under the name J.D.

Actually the 1.5 community right now is probably the size of the DoD community. They brought back 1.5 on their own network or something, go to #onepointfive i think and it has a dl link.

On a side note, remember that F*CKING gay ad in T spawn about WON shutting down? rofl I hated that thing. Someone should make a spray of that, and put steam on it. You could probably get people to believe Steam is shutting down.

i believe that overall CS & HL have been too successful for them to shut them down, and i think that they will create at least one other updated version of CS before it "dies." think about how many people still play CS:S. if they make a new version, at least 1/4 of those people (more likely to be 1/2 or greater) will purchase the new version, so it would be a bad business decision for them to give up on CS and not try to make an updated version.
