The server will only do good if n00bs get in there. Every time we try a new game (with the exception of cod4 because there was effort put in) people come up with these great ideas to branch out but then no one shows up.

The thing is...L4D only needs 8 people. And when you have a group of 4+ (which Roadie and I almost always have anyway) games fill up almost instantly. The problem is that people rarely complete a full game, but with good players who will stick around (n00bs) there is the potential for a great server. And I don't believe that these servers use up a great deal of bandwith, since many players can host their own game.

We already have a great group of players and we use the same servers over and over. We could easily make a n00b L4D server our home. If you need somebody to take charge, I would put Roadkill in charge (admin) of the server since he knows more than anybody about the game and how to police it properly. Also, he is already familiar with the admin commands.

L4D doesn't really require much policing, however, since a vote system is in place to eliminate those looking to ruin the fun (ragers, tkers, griefers). But it would be nice to have someone in charge that could allow permissions and clear out the server when the big boys are ready to use it.

I just picked this game up and I'm just amazed at how awesome it is.
