On a side note, this little experiment in democracy ended just as our RL system is about to, the parties that be cannot agree to agree and the in fighting is too destructive as it obstructs free will, critical thinking and individual freedoms associated to these liberties and corruption to go unchecked. Civil unrest and uprising ensues until the balance of power and/or a common agenda can be agreed upon to unite the people.

The shutdown of the political forum was NOT simply the result of Durango flooding.

It started with information being poured into the forum with more and more intensity.

Then the sheer volume of information became overwhelming (to me, anyway) and I didn't read much of it anymore.

Durango, JFOBP, and Judicator had some relatively heated debates and discussions in there and it would get pretty ugly from time to time, but they seemed to walk away with all fingers and toes intact each time.

Enter CupOfSoup. You have to admit, your style rubs people the wrong way and you know it. You're a little too blunt and a little too matter-of-fact for your own good. After earning yourself a temp ban you apologized, but you haven't changed your style much. You're still taking the "here's what I think and PS- F*CK you" approach.

Now that I've had enough of the bullshit in the political forum, you can't seriously run around these boards and openly blame this on Durango. His clash with you is the reason for the shutdown, not his individual rantings.

I wouldn't call you out in public on it except for the fact that you're calling HIM out in public and that is unacceptable. He's been here a long time and he's a grown-ass man. Show some respect for your elders and try easing into the community instead of plunging headfirst into things.

At 17 I wouldn't expect you to have highly developed diplomatic abilities. However, you could really do a lot better with you interaction with people. Don't give a F*CK if they like you or not? Don't expect to stick around for long then. You're dealing with a lot of grown-ass men on these boards and none of them are going to let some kid come in here fresh off the tit and start talking like he knows about life.

Now... can we ALL leave this bullshit behind us and start treating each other with a little F*CKING respect and common F*CKING courtesy again?
