If there is a god, then Allah doesn't exist. If Allah exists, then god doesn't. It seems too far fetched to be more than a story.

I'm paraphrasing so correct me if I'm wrong but Purple says that if you look at history it's obvious that there is a cyclic pattern of governmental upheaval that seems to repeat itself. He goes on to say that the power of the people is stronger than the control of the government and that if the masses want to revolt they will succeed.

I personally disagree. The combination of the advancement of technology and the amount of power we have placed into the hands of our leaders and the influence that the wealthy minority have over our leaders is too much for the masses to overturn in a violent revolution.

It is very evident in my eyes that the powers that be have done a very good job at staying hidden and controlling the masses in this country since the depression and especially after WWII.

The only way to successfully overturn a government such as our own is to start limiting its power slowly and take a real good hard look at the corruption and greed that arises in a capitalist society in which there is no limit to the amount of money a corporation (or person) can generate.

It's funny how everyone says, "moderation is key," yet we allow people to earn billions of dollars for themselves and their families.

With the introduction of a global market place and an unrestricted free market it is my belief that the future is going to become very dim for the masses whether they realize it or not.

There is no problem with people who believe in a creator. The problem arises when people think they need to worship their creator for creating them and that their creator wants them to live a certain way. This leads to conflict with other people who believe their God has instructed them to live a certain way.

Also, Allah is just another name for God.

Actually, the problem is that people believe there is a God.

God was a tool created by men to justify why we are here on this Earth and cover up the underlying truth to everything.

i am saying the current situation of this country lends itself to becoming something that isn't america. while some may think it's far fetched, i don't believe much else would have to happen in order for our rights to be completely taken away and turn our country to fascism.

once this bail out gets approved, the fed/gov't will basically own most of americans' homes. this will give them great control over the public. if an event occurs (terrorist attack, biological attack, war with russia or n. korea, iran, etc.) bush or whoever's in office can declare marshall law in order to "ensure national security."

So what are US citizens supposed to do?

pay attention and fight back if something like that happens.

this is not meant in any offensive way, just making a statement to everyone.

if you believe in God or the possibility of God and that there is at least some truth to the bible and what happened, you would know that you are supposed to spread the gospel (which means good news) to everyone to help guide them towards salvation, regardless of whether or not they are good or bad people. they may be idiots or assholes, but it is still the right thing to do.
