Zeitgeist is the experience of a dominant cultural climate that defines, particularly in Hegelian thinking, an era in the dialectical progression of a people or the world at large.

Zeitgeist is originally a German expression that means "the spirit of the age and its society", literally translated as time (Zeit), spirit (Geist)". In some countries it has a different meaning; e.g. in the Netherlands Zeitgeist literally refers to the mind of the time (tijdsgeest), and mind is understood as the mental spirit (state of mind). The word zeitgeist describes the intellectual, cultural, ethic and political climate of an era or also a trend. In German, the word has more layers of meaning than the English translation, including the fact that Zeitgeist can only be observed for past events.

The analogy I prefer to use is this. Thier was once a time when it was widely believed the world was flat and earth was the center of the universe, then zeitgeist, it later became known that these were falsehoods and a worldwide awakening occured to know what we now know and think is the truth. Keep in mind, that even what we think is currently the truth, may not be the truth at all either.

I would encourage you all to research the solar messiahs such as Horus/Mithra/Attis/Krishna/Dionysus (Jesus), Gilgamesh (Noah), Sargon of Akkad (Moses), Manou of India (Moses), Minos of Crete (Moses), Mises of Egypt (Moses) and of course, Jupiter and Persueus etc. check the historical facts and similarities of our mosaic laws derived from spell/chapter 125 of the Egyptian book of dead and parallels of the old and new testament between Joseph/Jesus and Judah/Judas.

Once you determine that religion is a tool of control and in "God we don't trust", you can then see that government is corrupt power and you have been lied to all along...

please please PLEASE everyone watch this movie! either this one or "america: from freedom to facism." both are very similar, but zeitgeist has also incorporates religion.

already seen it ive watched it a few times the last part about the FED is what i found most intresting

me too geno. interesting and scary taking into account the current events of our country.

The part about the fed was the most deceiving, IMO. I liked the opening about religion the most. The part about the 9/11 attacks didn't really add anything new to the issue.
