It was probably one of the worst $209 investments I've ever made. I find it is extremely hard to play video games with a giant dick in your ass.

Amen to that Bald. I got my lappy from there and it can run Crysis. This baby cost me 1500 and that was with all the extra shit like a mouse and a cord pack and shit like that. The only problem I have is with the touchpad which they will gladly fix for you for free all you do is pay for shipping if it's been after 30 days. I haven't sent mine in yet because I use an actual MOUSE to play my games so I have no need for the touchpad. But Cyberpowerpc.com is the place to go if you want ANYTHING. I'm buying a desktop from there for like 1300 when I get a better job.

Dude im only using a 1.8 A64 and two gigs overclocked to 2.6 and a radeon 1900xtx and i get more frames than i can refresh.All you need is to bump that fsb up and get a good video card,sorry but that 1650 is killing you.Grab something like a radeon 4870 and get that cpu speed up to 2.5 which will in turn ramp up your memory as well and you will be playing any game out there at over 85 frames which is more than you can refresh if your on a lcd.That 3500 will do 2.5 on stock volts without breaking a sweat.I think we still have a overlclocking guide in the tech section.

You serious? I'm running CS Sourc with an intel GMA X3100, theres no way the Radeon 1650 is what's slowing him down.

Its not? http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/article.h ... VzaWFzdA==
49 frames avg at 1024 is piss poor gaming my friend.Next time do the homework before you give someone false info.

It depends on your definition of "piss poor gaming". I actually find that acceptable.
If he really wants, he could probably take it down to 800x600 and he'll get a full 60.
EDIT: Didn't realize that the tests included AA and AF. Turn those off and he'll be getting more than 49 fps.

At such a low resolution the gain of disabling aa and af is gonna be a gain of maybe 2-5 frames if that.The thing you called me out on was the 1650 not being the bottleneck.When that is the case with his current setup.Did you notice that the test setup in the review i posted was using his cpu only 100 mhz faster?Now if he gets a better card such as the 4870 he will get around 150 frames and then the cpu will be the bottleneck but the improvement would be great.Thing is theres always gonna be a bottleneck you just try to go with the lesser.And just for the record 60 frames in online games sucks,it means death by players getting more frames than you.
I wont even comment on 800 x 600. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_37

I guess I misinterpreted then.
Technically yes, it is the bottle neck. I guess I was more puzzled why you recommended a 300 dollar video card to play a 4 year old game. Heck a Geforce 8800 will get you about the same frame rate at a said higher resolutions, and that's not nearly as expensive.
I was just saying that a Radeon X1650 could play the game, and get above 60. No, you can't do it with everything turned all the way up, but it will do it.

The reason for the 3870 and not something like a 8800 is so it will be a little more future proof.Not only will it play hl2 at high frames maxed out but will tackle any game out today like crysis.Im simply giving the guy a alternative to buying a new pc.For 300 bucks he can play most any game out with pretty much the same performance as a new rig.True a new rig would be faster but he could put off that purchase for at least a year if not two.Most games are not to cpu heavy so the gfx card is almost always your best bang for the buck.
Just a little background info FYI.I have been a onion for futuremark.com for around 8 years now giving advice for the fastest gaming rigs in the world.At one time i had the 12th fastest gaming rig registered at futuremark home of 3dmark..Whenever i give advice i do my research first,i dont just pull numbers from my tight ass.

Do not argue with super when it comes to frames and gaming hardware.

well my 1650 pro is doing alot better than the 1300 pro i had before hand. Also the average fps is 60 on avarage. Not bad for using a 250 windstream connection.
