Its kind of funny after seeing recent advertisements claiming to be a true "American" beer. I really don't care much as long as the taste and price stays the same.

Free beer is always good but people learn really fast that offering me a beer is a bad mistake. I will still buy it only because I really don't enjoy many other brands of beer. Of course I just paid $9.00 for a 12 pack of Busch, good god.

The only domestic beer I pay for is Sam Adams. I also like to sample the micro's but i never get more than a couple at a time. I've never figured out why people enjoy Bud so much. It doesn't even taste like beer. The stuff is so watery. You have to take a sip and wait a minute for the aftertaste to kick in just to get some flavor.

Too bad most of it tastes like shit, except for Select if I recall correctly. Michelob, bud, and the weiser I'm pretty sure tastes like straight piss. Have you people no standards?

Yuengling is my American beer of choice.

Warsteiner and Guinness beat most American shit anyway. I wanna taste Guinness that's made in Ireland because apparently it's even better.

Select has the least amount of beer taste than any other bud product. That was the whole point when they started making it.

I enjoy any micro brewery beer but I don't enjoy the small ass sample platter they give you. If I'm gonna sample some beer I want to sample more than 6oz at a time.

Do you have any idea where Belgium is? Dumbass.

This isn't going to effect us at all. The shareholders are still shareholders, except the controlling interest has been sold. All of their breweries are probably going to stay open and stay making beer the same shitty way they've been making it for the past ~150 years.

I drink Budweiser (not HOMOSEXUAL ass bud light) when I go to clubs because it's cheap and it's a relatively good light lager that you can drink all night without feeling pregnant with a butt-baby.

Real men drink homebrew/local anyway.

I've been digging the Sam Adams my self lately. As for that Rouge, it straight tastes like ass, but I've been drinking light beers when I tried it. I might find it to be better now.

I'm not a Miller mand but I think I might have to take it up.

Newcastle tastes like grape soda that's been stored in a rusty can. It is not a brown ale. It's the shittiest excuse for a brown ale ever made. I've seen light lagers that were darker and more full-bodied than that piss-poor excuse of a beer.

Newcastle sucks. Don't drink it.

My favorite nationally-distributed beer are Guiness, Guiness Extra stout, Killian's Irish Red, Corona (refreshing "drink when it's hot out side" beer), Shiner Bock, Warsteiner Dunkelweizen, Young's double chocolate stout, just about anything Sam Adams makes except their fruity shit (cherry wheat) and their pales, Sierra Nevada porter, Anchor Steam porter, and Budweiser (again, another "hot out side" beer but I also drink it when I'm at clubs and shit).

My favorite Texas locals: Shiner Black Lager, Blanco Brewing Company's "Real Ale" Brown Ale, Anything St. Arnold -- especially their Pilz, Live Oak Big Bark amber lager, Fireman's 4, All of Independence brewery's beers (wheat beer and brown ale in particular), and many local brews @ the Austin Draughthouse.

I am a beerslut.

What do you think of Warsteiner Bitburger? It's the only kind I've had and I like it.

hefeweizen == wheat beer

silly goose.

Also, is bitburger the one with the gold label? If so, it's ok. Dunkel lager is way better.

Yeah it's got the gold label. I'll give the dark lager a try.
