Forrest didn't really do anything to earn that win. It was like a Machida fight, sure it was obvious he won the points, but he can't knock anybody out, and he couldn't do anything on the ground against a cripple. He didn't lose the fight, but he did nothing to win it.
He's not going to have that belt long. Rashad will beat Chuck, and then take out Forrest in the most boring title fight since Silva vs AA 3.

What do you mean he didn't do anything? He took punches that would have normally knocked a guy out. The guys is tough as shit, and he proved it against on of the toughest, if not THE toughest guy in the weight class. Also, I forsee Chuck winning this upcoming fight, beating Forrest, and another rematch fight with Rampage. Wait and see!

They gave Griffen the 10-8 round in the second, even though it should have been stood up. Someone has a crush on the Iceman. Quit living in the past, Chuck's done. His last 2 fights he's checked the clock more times than he's thrown punches.

You're right, I don't give up on the great ones. He'll be back to stand on top again. It won't be for as long this time, but he'll be there. How about the blood bath early in the card? I have never seen someone bleed like that. I was surprised they didn't stop it. By the way, how about the upcoming fight? Silva is going to be a beast finially fighting within his normal weight instead of sliming down for every fight.

Lytle is a trooper. Great fight imo. When he went to the corner and I saw the cut, I told the guys I was watching with that it was over and the doc would never let it continue. I was pretty surrpised.
As far as Silva goes, I heard a rumor that if he beats Irvin, that they are going to give him a title shot. That should scare the shit out of Forrest. Forrest won't have a reach advantage and Silva will dance all day, not to mention that the guy is pinpoint accurate with his strikes and is a BJJ black belt.

I hope Silva dominates Irvin, which most likely he will. Even though it is his natural weight class, you got to think he is much quicker and faster when he slims up. Hopefully it doesn't cause too much of a problem being 20 pounds heavier. I doubt it will the guy is freakin insane. Chuck might have used to been awesome, but I think he is just too psyched out from his other losses. Maybe he will get some confidence back and come back, but I doubt it, another Tito?

I just read an interview with Irvin that said he was the 5th guy they asked to fight Anderson. Granted, it was on kinda short notice, but the guy is a middleweight. Irvin said "I was very surprised myself and to be honest I was kind of let down by one or two of the names." But he wouldn't release the names of the fighters cause he is friends with them.
The whole reason Anderson is moving up in weight is because fighters keep turning down offers to fight him for the belt at 185. Now 205ers are too scarred to step in the cage with him.

It was probably one of the worst $209 investments I've ever made. I find it is extremely hard to play video games with a giant dick in your ass.

first of all, UFC is only on about once a month. if 3 hours of fighting a month is too much tv, then you're on the computer WAAAAAAYYYY too much. nerd.
second, yes the fight wasn't spectacular (none of the fights that night were really) but forrest did win, even though he didn't do anything that was like "holy shit, he just lit up jackson!" he still won. jackson hurt forrest a couple times, but forrest never really lost his composure and he continued to press the action. i saw the fight exactly how 2 of the judges did where jackson only won 2 rounds.
third, if silva is fighting 205 and he's still fighting a 185lb guy that is EXTREMELY gay. wtf is the point then? i know the guy is a machine, but why will no one fight him. are the fighters gonna start acting like the MLB/NHL and start saying they aren't paid enough to fight certain people? sorry, now i'm just gettin pissy....
