You know, he's actually a protestant. His dad was a muslim turned atheist. and he's good about managing money. A lot better than most other running, if you look at their campaign moneys. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything. The interesting thing is he used to be for the decriminalization of weed, now, I guess to make more people happy, he'd want not as harsh sentences for minor offences.

Gore wasn't really a "good" candidate, at least not one that was worthy of my vote. He was, however, someone I would consider a legitimate contender.
Hillary and Obama are jokes. Either of them winning will be a massive disaster. The dems are just running as fast as they can to try and sit a minority of ANY kind in the big seat so they look like champions of "the cause".
I call bullshit on them. They had several other people that would be BETTER at running this country than either of them, and they chose to put the bitch and the AFRICAN AMERICAN up there to force our hand. F*CK them.
Now we're stuck with a liberal in conservative clothing with McCain. He'll be a disaster too, and to top things off he'll make the conservatives look like they blew it when it's really his liberal take on things that will bring us down.
It's the end of the world. Grab your asses and hold on tight. Nostradamus predicted the world would end in 2012, so whichever loser gets the post will run us into total destruction by the end of their term.

Also, Ron Paul is a huge pu$$y.
My evidence is that he set up a time to meet with Neal Boortz to talk about the Fair Tax and then chickenshit out of it.

I think it's become too much of democrats vs republicans. What party a person is running under should not be the issue at hand; you should judge a candidate blind of their political party, and attentive to what they actually think they can do. It's about voting for whoever has the best policies, in your opinion, from the buffet before you.
The problem is that it's hard to trust candidates anymore. You could trust Roosevelt because he'd kick his own ass before he lied to the American People. You could trust Wilson because he was the only candidate from a united party while the republicans were C*CK eachother. When I turn 18, I will vote for a president who I think isn't lying out of their asshole. If that never happens, then I won't vote.

The only two relevant questions you should ask yourself about a candidate are: "does he believe what I believe about X issue" and "if not, what can he possibly do about it if elected to office?"
Does he believe what I believe about killing babies? No.
What can he possibly do about it if elected to office? Nothing.
Oh well, there we go.

Ok, for the record, I think my previous post was the only one on here since I got back that I haven't been drinking the whole day. But from reading different shit today, it seems like obama doesn't really care to much about parties, unless you count him being in one. I'm not a party person, but damn if i won't be at a few later this month. All I'm saying is I'd rather have an Oreo (that doesn't seem like an idiot) in office than some stupid cunt ass bitch (that does seem like a cunt ass bitch and should be shot in the face). Or maybe he just pulled the wool over my eyes. If our forefathers could see the government now, they'd probably just go somewhere else, take over some land from those natives, make some rules and be happy. I'm just gonna do what I want. Well, when I get out i'm going to do what I want. You know, the whole life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness thing.

I'll let you know when I start it. Probably January of 2011, and it's going to look like an ordinary house in a decent part of town. Maybe we could have a get together there shorty, everyone invited, just have to wait a few years.

Why don't we just go raid the Davidian compound and take it over?
I'm far less afraid of Bush than I am Janet Reno. At least Bush gets laid. At least Bush got laid.

Actually, it does make sense and I do see where you're coming from, I'm more of a it's private land i'll do what the F*CK what i want to on it and you can't stop me on it, as long as it don't hurt people, campaign. Seriously alcohol, wee, video games, music, what are you going to charge me with, conspiracy to have a good time? F*CK that. Once I get out, I decide what the F*CK is going on with myself. "We"ll go to the loony bin together, I don't give a F*CK."

You have no idea how important that is right now. Not just because of ammo prices going up but because it may not be around much longer. As much as I hate Canada, their country is looking pretty good right now.
And I would have to agree with Corpse. The Dems are looking to get the winning token for helping out with the "cause". BULLSHIT! They have no idea what they are doing. I have been talking with people at work. The blacks are voting for Obama only because he is black. When I ask why they are voting for him thats the only answer they can give. People who say they are voting for Hilliary say the only reason they are voting for her is because Bill did a good job when he was in. This will be the worst yet.
But the worst is yet to come. I feel bad for either of the two if they win. Obama will either get assassinated or an attempt will be made. This could be the start of a race war. Not an all out war but the way we look at other races will change dramatically. Of course its bad and I would hate to see it but its gonna happen. There are just to many uneducated people from every race out there that will be the fuel for the fire.
As for Clinton......... Nothing against her being female (maybe a little) but she is an ass-clown. Enough said.
I have a lot of opinions when it comes to the right to bear arms and any issues dealing with the outdoors. I can tell you the outlook is dark.
Is this what I have to look forward to?

I've given up. After Hilary was caught lying about how she had to take cover after landing at some airport in Bosnia a few years ago because of sniper fire, she goes on the Tonight Show and jokes about it. Now I guess everyone's cool with it because she's funny...
I thought this was funny if anyone's heard about this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHVEDq6RVXc

I laughed my ass off when I first saw that, hilarity at it's finest.
As for the topic at hand. I dunno, I've gone from being partially enthused (as this is the first year I can actually vote in a presidential election) to just not caring anymore/borderline disgusted. None of the current candidates seem to be worth voting for.
Hillary is just the root of all evil, as was said before, plus (I know this is a bad reason to hate a candidate, but still) she's against violent videogames...so if it were up to her we'd be playing Barney and Teletubbies rather than CS: Source and CoD4. Besides, it's never a good idea to elect someone based on their spouses work in the white house.
Obama...meh...I've tried to like him (I like the fact that he wants to end lobbying...even if I know that's an impossible feat) but the more I hear from him, the less I care...That or it may just be that I'm a "typical white person" who would be afraid to see him if I was walking along a sidewalk (for those who don't get the reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCyjfcQPG8A )
I've never been much of a Republican person myself...so I haven't really been paying attention to McCain, but from what I've seen, I really don't like him either.
Kinda sucks the first year I get to vote and I don't like any of the candidates :( .

D.C. is a very violent area. A few years ago, my best friend's girlfriend was killed in a drive-by shooting. And if you read the whole thing, it says that most of the COPs don't actually think that the people will comply, which is probably true. But don't think that the new policy is trying to infringe on your rights. They're trying to reduce violent crime rates, and that's their job. Besides, the searches are voluntary anyway.
What do you have to look forward to if you feel the need to own a firearm in your own country's capital?
