I'm planning on going out of the country on vacation but I'm not sure where I'm going to go. My buddies who I was planning on going with have all pussed out or have discovered that they're not going to be able to afford it.. so I'm resorting to the internets for ideas/travel buddies.

I am trying to decide between the following places:

Ireland
England (London)
France (Normandy, not Paris -- been there, done that)
Germany (anywhere)
Czech Republic (Prague)
Holland (Amsterdam. No. I don't smoke weed.)
Greece (Athens)
Egypt (Cairo)
Italy (Somewhere in the northern part. Already been to Rome. Too many Catholics.)

If anyone has ever been to any of these places, let me know... and if anyone is serious about wanting to go within the next 2-3 months, hit me up.

personally i think Cairo sounds the coolest but I guess it depends on what you like to do and see on your trips.

i'm broke, my semi-gf is always bugging me to go on trips but i can't go until i graduate. :*(

From the list above, Greece is a no-brainer. Although it is not in your list, I'd recommend some cities in Brazil (not Rio). The ticket'd eat up to $1,500, though.

Italy i would suggest going to Bolzano and Trento and Stresa all in the northern part of Italy if you like where all the tourists go goto Venice is the place to goto. Austria is very nice i suggest going to Vienna, Graz, Lienz, Klagenfurt these cities are not very crowded with tourists if you like more crowds goto Innsbruck and Salzburg.

for real tho.... italy is a nice F*CKIN place...so i hear. havent been yet but would love to see my homeland

I've been to Rome. It's a really cool place, but as I said... there are too many Catholics and too much graffiti. It's almost depressing to see how filthy that city is.

I might do it with you, and then we could go on vacation.

But, honestly, Cairo or Athens are your two best choices.

It'd be safe to say that you'd need between 2000-3000 bucks for London, which would be the cheapest place. Airfare to places like Egypt, Greece, and the Czech Republic is a few hundred bucks more, which outweighs the cheaper hotel prices by quite a bit.

If you've got your passport and you're down, let me know. If you don't have your passport, get it.

Go to Cairo. Ive lived there before. Its hot, dirty and polluted. And some of the girls.....OMG..are hot! Some....just some. And if you go to Cairo, theres this cruise that takes you to Alexandria. Its really nice.
