I just want to get everybodies opinioin on maybe convincing Corpse on starting up a tactical server. Maybe if we could get enough votes for it, we could get one started.

Now a tactical server isn't for the players that just want to run around and kill aimlessly. The objectives have to be followed to a T. There would be no kill hunting, crack jumping or anything else that you would normally do in a day to day server. It is a slow paced game. You have more time to complete your objectives. The whole point of the game is to rely on your teammates. It would be a server with fewer slots for players. But it is a really fun way to play. I'll have more on this as I learn more about it.

I'd like to have an elite server for source. Something that has league maps on the rotation and no weapon restrictions (16 man has always been my favorite).

The main server is way too laggy with 32 slots. A 66 or 100 TIC 16-slot Elite source server would rule my tool.

But what Kitten said was true. With the type of people playing this game, no one is really gonna be interested at this type of slow-paced game style.

The elite was alot like what you are describing. I don't know how long you've played but you might want to look into a subclan because what you are wanting to do is scarm.... Come on in vent and we'll round us up 5 or so and make sweet sweet scarm.

That is what I'm talkin about Shorty. An elite server. Something for those who would like to play something that takes alittle bit more effort to play and alot more communication. Something where team work is the only way you will win. Not just some game where you can just run around aimlessly and kill some people. I've noticed that some of the players actually play like they are playing in an elite server. They stick to their objectives and they don't deviate from them just to better their score or their rank. Those are the type of people that should be reading this and commenting. Not people who everytime they play just go in and bash on some people because they aren't as good as they are and then leave. But hey, who am I to talk, I'm still too new to this stuff. But I'll leave it up to the other players to make the decision to either go for it or leave it alone.

I would definitely play on a server like that I've I love it when the game plays like that. Cause I'm always trying to do my objectives. But ppl would jsut F*CK around and it wouldn't work =(

Ok, I'm going to try not to lose my temper here with you Apok. I know source has it's flaws, just like every other game out there. There is no such thing as the perfect game. You are going to find a glitch somewhere somtime. But I'm not actually talking about aiming(sorry to burst your bubble of hope for that comment). What I was talking about was just running around not really paying attention to your other teammates and what is going on around you. Just running around with 17 degrees of vision(for the people that don't understand, that means just paying attention to what is right in front of your face). That is what I was talking about.

Now to the temper comment. Please, and I really do mean please, don't ever use the term son to me ever again. That term was reserved for one man and one man only(who is no longer with us today). I have ripped into my higher ranking superiors for that one. So please don't use it again. Thank you.

Raven, I'm sorry for your loss, but you have to understand that it's not a personal comment. It was a joke. I get the same comments too, and for a while I was edgy because I have the same situation.

Either way, I dislike running and spraying being the number one cause of win in this game.

But I do agree with you on that. Now see, that is where the elite server will come into play. You don't just run and spray. You pick and choose your targets wisely so that you don't end up getting overwhelmed. Or you call out the targets for the sniper that you have on your team. Just like you would if you were to actually be thrown into that type of situation.

But anyways, I would like to see some more comments from some of the other players please. Even if it's just a yay or nay comment. Atleast that way I will know if I should press this top any further.
