My point is that America rocks the balls out of every other motherfucking piece of shit on the planet. Almost any given state in America has a more powerful economy than almost any other given NATION. You won't find a better balance of private rights and economic liberties. Whether the Liberterifags like it or not, superiority comes at a price and a lot of bullshit has to happen for everyone to have the rights that they do.

We have a moral obligation to help those less fortunate. Get used to it. We aren't the only ones who can help people - we're just the only ones who do.

Helping AIDS-ridden AFRICAN AMERICAN babies in Africa isn't for our direct benefit. By spreading the good name and will of America to these less developed countries around the world, we're propping them up to become economic powerhouses and to eventually become incredible partners like Japan and Germany (currently #2 and #3 economic world powers).

Some of our individual rights are not as secure as we think, but it's all relevant to national security.

But honestly, the best use for an amnesty bill would be when the boarders are ACTUALLY sealed with a giant ass wall with guards like Berlin. And only people with no problems caused should be eligible for amnesty that already are here. Realistically, it will never happen, but that would actually be the best thing.

Look at it this way.

By registering all these illegal immigrants, we can finally send those aliens who turn out to be drug dealers, gang members, and thieves through OUR judicial system instead of just deporting them and having them jump another fence a week later.

The reason we don't have a 20-foot concrete wall tipped with acid-spewing spikes and robot attack dogs wearing jetpacks and motion-sensored .50 caliber turrets looking over hundreds of thousands of land mines is because of politics and bureaucracy. We can't build a wall unless Mexico says it's ok. By granting their people who are already here amnesty, we're projecting positive diplomacy. By granting them amnesty, we're closer to building that wall than ever.

And it isn't like they're becoming citizens right away. They're only getting foreign labor privileges. They have to stick with our defined systems for no less than five years to become a citizen. Five years is PLENTY time to do background checks and acclimate those willing to do the paperwork.
