 The Return of Joe Mamma!! Ok, so just in case anyone missed the whole story, here's the latest and greatest n00bfest prank.
I'm in the server playing CSS with a bunch of people last week, and Kitten isn''t using his normal name. He ends-up kicking someone, so I decided to mess with him. I opened HLSW and spoke to him from the server console:
"Kitten you should use your n00b name when using admin commands"
I get this reply:
"F*CK you Joe!"
GAME ON!!!
I kick him. He comes back and launches into a rant. I swear back and him and tell him he should be setting a better example. (He still thinks he's talking to Joe)
Finally, I let Apok know it's me F*CKING with Kitten and we all come up with a genius plan. I'm still posing as Joe Mamma, and I pretend-ban Kitten. Apok starts saying that Kitten is sending him messages that he can't get back in the server and I'm in the server telling "Joe" that he's out of line and he'll be punished if he doesn't calm down (basically I'm talking to myself and arguing)
Finally, Joe (me) says "if that's how it's gonna be, maybe I don't even want to be here anymore" then Joe (me) enters the QUIT command from the console and crashes the server.
OUTRAGEOUS!!! HOW DARE JOE ACT LIKE SUCH A DICK?!?! OH MY GOD SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!!!
I immediately started talking with Bullet and told him the council needed to take immediate action against Joe. Bullet changed the rcon password to the server and removed Joe's forum powers and priveledges right away.
There was also a vote started in the Council forum to decide on Joe's replacement (by the way, AnalChowMein would have been the winner!)
Anyway, Joe had NO idea what the hell happened because he was OUT OF TOWN the whole time. He came back once the other night and posted something in the council forum. I scrambled and deleted it then made sure Joe couldn't get back in and re-post anything in there until he got home.
I guess that's how Apok got the idea to delete/edit posts to try and extend the joke as long as possible. He knew it would be coming to a close tonight, so he was probably just trying to get one last inch out of it.
So Joe is innocent, had no idea what was happening, and came home to find all of his admin powers, council seat, and forum powers all removed.
