In my opinion, I'd take out silo and lingo, those will be horrible pub maps. I'd also replace cargo with de_train because it's just one of those stupid remakes Steve commissioned because he's too big of a baby to use de_train.

I would also give karnak a shot, that's much better for pubbing than silo as far as czl maps go, alongside the fact that silo is notorious for serious FPS issues.

I chose 1.6 inferno for 2 reasons:

1. It's just better.
2. Some people will have FPS issues on the CZ version for whatever reason and will complain.

I realize your rotation was a copy/paste of the CAL Rotation this season. All I can say to CAL's map choices every season is EWwWwWwWw. I mean, I'm well aware of the fact it's not 1.6, but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice good maps. -_-

The fact that you put fastline on there means we can't take you seriously. And Lingo would be an awesome pub map.

Cmon don't knock fastline, it's one the few balanced maps that never gets played. Lingo would be awful. The terrorist team would be crying for a map change after the third round and you know this.

All that being said, though, it's not up to you and me. The community will decide ultimately.

I'm going to talk this over with Corpse and get a rotation together that resembles that of the old Elite server.

I understand that you guys want a place to practice these CAL maps and CZL maps, but if you want the server to survive you're going to have to put together a rotation that attracts the average player. Silo and Russka will dump players faster than Linsey Lohan can drop ... never mind.

If you guys want 1337 maps, that's fine with me. But be advised - it won't get as much traffic. Maybe more of a 5v5 or 6v6 server would be more appropriate for these purposes? Then the die-hard CZ n00bs and PSA pads can just wear out their mousepads in there.

Honestly, I think we should put the usual suspects on there (D2, Inferno, Nuclear, Train/Cargo, and NOT DUST.), then we should vote on a couple others. I'd like to see Corruption and Freight.

But seriously, have any of you ever played Woohoo_cars? That is hands down the greatest map ever made.

Tank fillled the elite server up nearly every time it was played. I've got an idea of a potential map rotation in mind, but it's going to take a bit of time for both a) my machine to get up and running and b) me to get the maps together (unless someone else wants to do this).

I'll have to think really hard to remember some of the map names, as I haven't played CZ regularly in a long, long time.

Give me a list of the maps and I will add them to the server. Looks like Tank is 1 of em. I thought Contra was a good one.
