 CZ and You - Elite Server? I haven't run this by Corpse yet, but I was thinking of probing to see how many people still play CZ, and how many would be interested in having the elite server back for CZ (with scrim maps rotating on it). I'm sort of interested in bringing back the Elite server.
I personally like 1.6 and CZ more than Source, but this community wasn't really ever big on 1.6.

Glad to see I've got some support here. I talked this over with Corpse briefly, and our goal wouldn't be to pull people outta the source server, but get people who can't play source back involved with n00bfest.
I foresee a 16 man server with the old elite server map rotation with all weapons allowed, 800 starting money, no funky mods (just adminmod), etc. Just like the old Elite server I paid for a year or two ago.
If any of you are still in contact with some of the old timers who don't play source but still play CZ, let me know. Also, all of you PSA punks who still play CZ, show me some support :-P.

You might want to check out maps like Cargo (train) and lingo, a new map for cal this year that is actually really good. PSA has scrimmed it quite a bit, even though our team this week isn't even going to reply to matchcomm, because it's hella fun.
