Quake now on Steam
So I see that id games are now available on steam. IDK if anyone plays Quake arena anymore but I was wondering how the hell I can play this online without having to pay any money. Now that its available on steam does that mean that I can just join any server? I always thought that before you had to go through gamespy or some other type of server company and pay a subscription fee to access the game online.

I actually have no idea. With all the shit I read from QuakeCon last week, no one mentioned this.
I'd assume you could just put your Q3A CD key in to Steam and activate it and play over Steam, but I don't know.
