In a 10 minute break in a summer course, we decide to drive 15 minutes away to Harvey's. The guy who's driving treats stop signs as if they were Minimun-50 signs. We ended up bumping into some lady because he decides he doesn't need to brake at a stoplight, luckily he HAD slowed down and she had started moving a little. Just a bumper-bumper collision.

There was no damage and we drove away no questions asked.


For whatever reason, I get back in that car a couple days later, but decide I'm going to get out. He says he's not stopping. I move up to the side door (it's a van) and I'm smelling some drinks on his breath. Thinking "F*CK this" I open the door and say "Stop the F*CKIN car".

He slows down to like, 10-15 and says "I'm not stopping the car". Door's opening, slowest he's gonna go I figure screw it I'm getting out. As I go to hop out, he floors it, I tried to hold on but couldn't get a good grip so I fell out going about 45-50. I tried to roll a bit but I still hit the ground pretty hard. Nothing's broken, my wrist was bruised badly, my elbow was cut pretty badly and bled a fair bit, my knee was cut up and is heavily bruised and hurts like a bitch.


I know I shouldn't have gotten back in on the first place but, a couple other friends of mine were in and I had nothing else to do. If you think I should have stayed in the car, my chances were better jumping out.

Anyway, apart from bruises and scabs, when I rolled I cracked my iPod screen (30GB iPod Video, I'd forgotten I had it with me that day. Music still works but what's the point of having it.) Apple says that since I have my warrantee, it'll only cost me $180 to repair it + shipping.

So I'm fucked.

I had a friend dropped off at his house, except they just told him to jump out onto his lawn b/c he's not stopping. So he jumps out and tries to land on his feet with the car going 35 and ends up flipping over and bruising the hell out of his side.

I had a Creative Zen at one point until a friend thought it would be funny to hold it out the window of my car while we were going down the road. To make a long story short, he lost his grip on it.

Then I bought an iPod because I was/am a HOMOSEXUAL and bought in to the bullshit.

I really regret not getting another Zen. The Zen was a portable hard drive. The iPod is a portable brick. I put shit on it and can't get it back without a lot of hassle.

Get a PSP and convert your videos. It's cheaper, has a bigger screen, and you can play games on it when you're bored.

iPods are nice, too. I have an iPod and a PSP, and my only regret on the iPod is the screen size for watching movies. For songs and music videos it rocks. Although.... I hardly use my iPod now that I got the PSP.
