What's a legitimate reason for voting no?

This isn't "legitimate" enough? It's true, though. If they're enabled, it's going to turn into a AWP camper's heaven. Both sides are going to just sit there and wait to AWP the other team....seen it plenty of times.

My turn.This is the n00bfest,not the i want to hang back and get cheap ass one shot kill's fest.No matter what restrictions you apply it will always be abused.Its just that simple.Until we add a elite server again i guess you will just have to hit the funmaps for your awp fix.

And if you think theres some full proof mod we can add please post it here so i can tell you how to exploit it.Because i have saw just about all of them and none work.

I was around for a full Funmaps unanimous decision for dust2.

People go through this every summer. They whine and cry about wanting AWPs (usually led by the biggest AWP whores in the group) and once they get slapped down this all stops.

Changing the ICEWORLD server to Dust 2 seems pretty shitty to me. Who the hell is putting up votes for dust2 in the ICEWORLD server anyway?

It's just a rude way of saying "F*CK you" to the rules of n00bfest.

Enable AWPs and true "n00bs" will get frustrated because we have some seriously GREAT whores of the AWP that live here. Newer players get frustrated because of the whores, so it's always been a n00bfest tradition. We've experimented with enabling AWPs several times over the years. It always ends in frustration.

Sure... it's not as realistic for practicing for matches, but that's not important to the zombie masses.

Besides that, Mr. Super has spoken, and he will strike down upon thee with great wrath and furious anger, my bother.

Best thing I've seen for awps.

You lose 20 health every time you shoot it, some silly AMX mod. Either that or you know...use some F*CKIN' flashbangs and smoke grenades....but if you suck you suck, gotta dumb the game down to your level so you can win I guess......

See. This is mostly why I hardly play counter-strike anymore.

I'm fighting a losing battle here. I know Super is right. There are awp whores, but there are also ways to destroy them, very simple. But this of course takes strategy and time to figure out which, everyone in n00bfest is pretty much every man for himself therefore voiding the server of any sort of team play in the game which pretty much defeats the whole purpose.

I hate to say it but... i oppose so bad on the idea on enabling awps, its just gay and un-skilled. I can tell you this strange you can buy a scout is cheaper and requires more skill. I aint saying you arent skilled enough i saw you play and you´re a good player, and by this i say that if you´re good enough i dont know why youre asking for an awp on main.Go to iceworld or scrim with someone heh.

Tell ya now, AWP takes a lot more skill than guns that funmap newbs like you use, such as the MP5.
AWPs require a motionless shot to be acurate.
AWPs often leave you with only one chance, if you miss the shot you're a goner.

Bottom line, you're bad.

imma try this caps thingy. UM WHAT ABOUT IF ONLY HEADSHOTS WITH THE AWP WILL KILL THE PERSON??? WOULD THAT BRING THE WORD "SKILL" INTO ASSOCIATION WITH T3H AWPZ0R? seriously that would be a great mod. only hs register for kill with the awp. and if people bitch about that then 10 dmg/bullet anywhere else? that gives you their whole clip to F*CK them up and only having to worry about protecting ur head (which is good practice to dodge headshots). i think if such a mod was to be created, people would gain skill against awps and through practice would be skilled enough to handle a real power awp. its a compromise for everyone seeing as its 50/50.

Most people decent enough to use the AWP with any efficiency would be able to get headshots..
