i have 200gig harddrive,
2400 core duo,
1gig ram,
7600 or maybe7800 (i can't remember) go force graphics drive

which works at 10mbps

but this is what i get

except i usually have somewhere close to 110 loss and between 120-199 average ping

...so i've tried changeing around all the rate, cl_, updaterate stuff and i cant seem to find the right combination to fix my shit and get bat to p[laying normaly

LV's guide is dated. I posted one I found a while back, but I'll have to do a search to find it again. I'll look this afternoon.

Yeah, and if you look at the post right below mine, it's Falcon.

GOD!

:)

And LV's guide has good information about rates and ping, the rates he uses are best suited for LAN or people with great connections. I, on the other hand, live in an apartment in a small town, and have a pretty crappy connection.

I use the rates LV-Gamer set, usually with ex_interp .05 or ex_interp 0 and they work pretty good for me. Does my connection type make a difference?
