In windows media player it no longer will play the video I can however still play music files which work fien but not video files. My cpu usage goes to 100% and i have to end the process before i can do anything else because it lags my whole comp. It also does the same thing with some videos online, quicktime, launch music videos, etc. Any idea of what is wrong?

I had the same problem download a codeX from microsoft and it will play them. Need it to read a dvd and play them. :wink:

Ive had that problem buts its been a long time ago.I would try to restore to a date that i knew it work properly first.Some times that gay system restore is a god send.
