No, don't give up based on that fact. You'll get better, and you may as well be a rct/n00b while working on it. I've seen people who didn't even know how to defuse a bomb stick around here until they were pwning. Just be patient, in all aspects of things.

Just get a mentor to help you on certain things... I started in 1.3, but I was made fun of and blew ass, so I left.. But I picked the game back up in 1.5, Still blew ass, got kicked MANY times on the 7 man ice server. So I left again for a while.. Then when n00bfest got a regular server I tried playing in that. I sucked ass still, but 2 players named Tr|ck and Jenny saw how much I sucked, told me to stay in the server, and after everyone else left, They taught me how to shoot, where to run, how to defuse, what different things were, and how not to be a retard.. If it wasn't for those 2, I probably wouldn't be playing right now.. And no it's not the Jenny most of you know, this one was a lot more skilled and nice..

The first day I played cz I played here. I was like 3000 kills and 10,000 deaths at one point. But I've pretty much turned it all around. Config setup helps a lot, but practice is the way to go. So don't give up.

I have the same sort of story, except for the turning it around part. I still suck, but I'd rather be a member who sucks than a stranger who sucks.

but in all seriousness just practice. eventually youll go from 1-10 to 1-5 to 5-1 (given enough practice)

I'm still at 1-10, but seriously Botox, your perdy good for a "beginner", yer alot better then I was once I started. I used arrows keys for like 2 weeks till I figured out the w,a,s,d buttons.. hehe. So hang in there with us, its better to be sucky and liked, then to be kick ass and disliked :wink:
