Post Latency problems
So latley my latency has gone from 50-75 up to 200-290. It only happens in every sever but the funmaps server. Did something change or am I a dumbass. If I am a dumbass please help. I have already changed all my dl & ul rates long time ago. Should I uninstall?

what is your rate at? it should be around 25000 if not play with it a little...drop it to 20000 see how it runs till you get a nice even ping its ok if it spikes up every once and a while as long as it goes back down

rate 25000
cl_updaterate 50
cl_cmdrate 101

That's what I have to use to keep my choke and loss to a minimum. Since I have started playing on these servers, using the how to guide LV wrote in the tech section, I usually run at 100 choke. No kidding. Right now my choke will spike to 10-20 on our servers and I only get 60 fps. I'm slowly buying parts for a new computer, and I might be able to change some of that soon. But for now, I'm stuck.

My settings are actually good. Believe it or not my latency went back to normal. I think my internet just blows, and yes its cable! Its a company called Charter Communications and here is what they offer:Approximately 3Mbps downstream, 256Kbps upstream. And I think my download rate just got bumped up to 6Mbps
