i was playing in this random server yesterday morning.. and the thing i liked about it was it was an.... i should say.. gore server...
blood poping out of head when head $hot.. and pissing blood when u have 25> hp....
just wanted yall elders to think about it..

The whole thing about pissing blood, or any server that has you bleeding when your hurt, kind of sucks. If your playing to actually win the round, and your camping somewhere because you know he's coming, the guy is going to see the blood shooting out and kill you (most of the time). But the headshot idea isn't bad.

Agreed. I played one of these servers the other day while 1.6ing and couldn't believe how gay it was.

Decreases FPS, lags the server, make it obvious where a person is.. gore mod FTL.

You could always donate for a server with gore mod.. I'm just sayin'.

lol... i didn't know it costs to use mod such as the gore mod... hhmmmm.. i'm still a newbi on using and buying servers.... o well.... as soon as i get a good payment at my work place.. i'll start chipping in money.. until that day.. holla

It doesn't cost money to use a Mod, he's saying that you'd need an entirely new server for that because it won't be implimented on any of the current ones.

Basically. You could donate for a new server, or get in a group of people and donate for a server and have it like you guys want it. (Within n00bfest's discretion, of course. Like you can't give anyone you want admin, etc.)

I don't think that kinda stuff is going to happen anymore. Too many servers nobody plays.

There is the Realism mod kind of like that. You bleed, and you loose life. It is actually kind of cool.

i know it costs about 50 buck each month to get a simple and basic server.. but well.. hopes all gone until i become rich =)

As it stands, the Elite server has 16 players. 16 x $2 = $32/month

The server hosts I'm looking at upgrading to cost $3/slot/month.

Yeah the Gore Mod was on the Source for a very short period of time. Would lag the server out big time. Maxed out the CPU's on a Dual P4 Xeon system when more than 4 people were on.
