Well. Florida's panhandle got rammed in the B, Birmingham got a little taste of it too.

All I got were high winds and some rain. I don't have to worry about flooding, I'm on a BIG ass hill.

:-D

Slim lives only about 10 mins from my parents house so were in the same boat.

•About 90 percent of Gulf Power Company customers are without electricity because of Hurricane Ivan, and it's likely to be at least three weeks before all power is restored, a spokesman said Thursday afternoon.

"It's catastrophic," Gulf Power spokesman John Hutchinson said. "The electric system it has taken us 80 years to build was basically destroyed in eight hours last night."

About 364,969 of Gulf Power's 405,000 electric customers were without electricity Thursday. About 137,963 of the outages are in Escambia County,

•Virtually every major bridge in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties has been closed indefinitely to all traffic, according to information from Florida Emergency Management and the Florida Highway Patrol. A quarter-mile section of eastbound Interstate 10 bridge over Escambia Bay connecting Santa Rosa and Escambia counties was missing; the westbound section of I-10 was damaged but still standing. A roughly 30-foot section is missing from Bob Sikes Bridge, which is the bridge from Gulf Breeze to Pensacola Beach. The Navarre Beach Causeway is closed because of damage. The Garcon Point Bridge and the Pensacola Bay Bridge were closed because of structural damage. The Lillian bridge on U.S. 98 at the Florida-Alabama state line is closed because of structural damage on Alabama side and flooding on Florida side. The U.S. 90 bridge over Escambia River, between Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, is closed because of hurricane debris. The Perdido Key Bridge on State Road 292 is closed because of flooding.

• The Escambia County Health Department has issued a boiled water advisory for all residents in Escambia County. Before drinking water residents should boil it for one minute or residents can add eight drops (1/8 teaspoon) of plain, unscented household bleach per gallon of water and let stand for 30 minutes. If water is still cloudy after 30 minutes repeat the process.

• A curfew remains in effect for Escambia County. The move is intended to deal with safety and security concerns.

I dont think we're gonna here from live, slim or syn for a while.

IM ALIVE!!! Alright the low down of the dirtiest death. Shortly after posting my im still cool post at 9:00 pm my power went down at 10:30 pm. I stayed at my parents for protections sake that they have a nice big brick house. Well Hurricane Ivan didnt care about F*CKING brick houses. This was possibly the scariest shit I have ever witnessed or heard in my whole life. It was like a demon breathing around my house for 8 hours. Out of 11 pine trees only 2 were left standing and one of those are still leaning towards my parents house. 2 of them criss crossed and landed on the back patio just barely missing the house, 1 crashed into a neighbors yard slaughtering there garage, 1 fell and hit directly on the left of the garage at my parents. I spent the whole night emptying water buckets so my house didnt flood. The tree that crushed the garage crunched the window like a tin can, ripped the brick away from the wall, collapsed the dry wall on the roof for that half of the garage, punctured a tree limb through BRICK in the dining room, impaled the roof in the dining room, impaled the roof in the living room, half of the house has dry wall missing and you can see the wood of my roof. I stayed up for over 24 hrs before sleeping to make sure everything was all cool. When the light finally cracked over the horizon I was able to see the largest amount of destruction I have ever seen in my life. The Irony in the whole deal is my Apt. was completely untouched. Power lines were still standing, no damage to structure, and no trees down. I got home and brushed the shit of my patio and that was it. I got my power back Sunday night and my cable just came on now which is why im posting this. Syndrome and Slim are cool I have seen and talked to both of them. No damage to either ones homes. Tasty and Gino's parents on the other hand are directly across the street from Syndrome at the bay and there home was washed out into the street. A 40 ft wave took out one of our bridges and College is cancelled for me due to the extreme damage there and housing all the military personel. I AM ALIVE. Hurricane Ivan can Suck it. I will be back for the master pwnage of uber 1337 rampages. Thanks for the love.
