Hey guys, are there any golfers out there? I'm just starting to get into golfing and I barely know anything about it, hah.

ya man I play golf im a 6 handicap.... first thing u wanna do is get a pair of sticks fitted for you... length, lie angle, grip size, etc.... then take a lesson or 2 then head to the range then go play... the more you practice the better you will be just remember only 7% of people that play golf shoot 78 or better so dont get discouraged when your shoot triple digits

I was really big into golf back in the day...like ages 10-14. I've been wanting to get back into playing recently, gotta dust the cobwebs off and hit the range. I probably suck ass at it now.

Stop now,you will only get worse at it and spends shit loads of cash.But riding the carts and drinking beer is pretty fun.

I love me some Golf. I Played on my high school team. I Don't play as much now, and Florida gets so god damn hot in the summer it's almost unbearable.

I play at the Babe Zarahias Golf Course once in a while. What course did you play at Deepslit?

What he said. My brother spent around $12,000 on golf a few years ago. What'd he get out of it? A closet full of golf bags, shoes and balls + an angry spouse who got pissed off that he wasn't there on the weekends.

Weather's finally nice enough to golf, hit up my first game today, played terrible, but it's comin back. Also played Frolf (disk golf) the other day, such a less frusterating sport, and you can get drunk and/or stoned and still play decent. Both are awesome.

Thats the best part of golfing really the only thing I like doing there I get bored of golfing after like the 5th hole then just get hammered and F*CK there cart up.

Yeah, I went to the range after I posted this. Hit 150 balls.. got a blister in one hand.. Bad idea to hit 150.. Hit a couple good ones.. Hit the guy's cart who drives around scooping up the golf balls, was pretty funny. I might get out there and play 9 holes or 18 holes. I still need to learn what a birdie is, and pars and the others hah.

A birdie is one stroke below par.

For each hole a Par is set. determined by length, difficulty etc.

When you get a Par it means you took the amount of strokes that is equal to the Par of the hole.

But in your case worry more about a bogey(one over par) or a double bogey (2 over par)

F*CK even a Triple bogey (3 over par)

If you are getting blisters you could be holding the club wrong :/

I only played at avila once, way back in a tournament when I was a kid. The Claw is a nice course. Pretty damn challenging compared to The Babe (although any course is challenging compared to The Babe).

Golf is F*CKING great. I Golf twice a week and I play disc golf also. Both are very fun. Im actually going to Aarow Head CC on thursday. But yes it is true....your wife will be pissed, it will cost lots of money...but driving the cart, drinking beers and smokin buds is a great time no matter what you shoot. Shot a 96 last Thursday but my game improves every week. Yoou just need to get out there, keep your eye on the ball (dont lift your head) and dont try to crush it, just make contact...the club will do the work. Good luck and enjoy it.
