back to the


x-y=2(x-y)

substitute the numbers for the varibles

so


1-1=2(1-1)


you always do whats in the parenthesis first

(pemdas)

so

1-1=2(0)

do the math

1-1=0

2*0=0

so they are equal



(even if you distribute the 2 first you get

2-2 which is equal to zero, and the answer is still the same)

WOW You took this shit too serously, I know i can't fool Math, it's an exact science, so don't come here and try to make me look like an stupid, just saw that on metacafe and copied it here, geez im not that stupid you know, almost graduating from ChE (chemical enginneering with a minor on industrial engineering)

soon to have PhD on polymers and already have a job on Munich Germany waiting for me to finish (already worked there, liked me, promoted me, wait for me) so pls leave the messican alone..

Well right. When the first step is 0=0, regardless of variables, it's just a truism. You'll end up with 0=0 or 3.7=3.7 or whatever you want, or undefined once you divide by zero.
