 Weird Algebra!?
Let us Give
x=1 and y=1
x=y
Therefore
x - y = 0-----------> Eq. 1
And
2(x-y) = 0
or
2x - 2y = 0 -------> Eq. 2
Let us join the two equations because they share the both rigth hand side...
Therefore
x - y = 2(x - y)
then
(x-y)/(x-y) = 2
Therefore
1 = 2 WTF???

I think this is how it SHOULD be,
It doesnt make sense because
X=0
Y=0
Therefore
x - y = 2(x - y)
Would = 0
and
(x-y)/(x-y) = 0

Typo. Someone used the numpad 0, which is under the 1 and 2 and must have slipped up and grazed the 2. Therefore:
If 0+1+2=3
and 0=2-(1-1)
Then: 0+2(3x3-8 )=2
Conclusion: Mexican shortcuts=bad textbooks.

There's some wierd Mexican formula to arrive at the conclusion that 10=0.. That's Mexican math for ya.

Erroneous. You can't divide by zero, the equation becomes undefined, and meaningless.

 Wrong.
vAn the MaN wrote: x - y = 0-----------> Eq. 1 ________________________________ (x-y)/(x-y) = 2
Therefore 1 = 2 WTF???
0/0 != 0, 1, or 2 (!= means does not equal)
it would be zero, but because 0 is in the denominator, the equation is undefined. Therefore the numbers are uncomparable.

dude, all is fine but, X-Y cannot =0 (in that case)
thats it
