any ideas as to why me and my brother cant be on vent silmaltaniosly (sp). we used to be able to. but as soon as i download vent and install it neither one can connect



before anyone says anything we assisnged all the computers in the network a static ip and that didnt work

same problem for me and turk............ maybe its b/c vent is nearly password protected

after some dumbasses decided to play around and connect like 5 times in vent and take up space they put on a filter for 1 ip addy so only 1 can connect

You, generally, only have one IP address for an entire household. Unless you pay extra for multiple static ips and have set up port forwarding in a router to route the traffic to two NAT ips, then there's no real way to work around it.

We'll probably password vent and ban anyone we see with multiple instances of vent open.

in the future we will be able to both get on at the same time and the reason we cant now is because you all have some filter set up on it
