LordClevage, I haven't formatted my machine in about 4 years (since about a year after I bought it) and it runs just fine. People who need a fresh install of windows every month don't know what they're doing.

Windows has a lot of hardware/software issues? Try finding reliable drivers for linux. Oh shit! You don't need drivers for linux because you can't do jack shit once you boot into it!

IE Crashing = System crash? No. iexplore.exe and explorer.exe are different things. iexplore is internet explorer, and explorer.exe is the windows shell. They're completely different.

Limited customization? Another pile of BS. There are all SORTS of customization options (look into talisman and other shell-converters).

High prices, eh? $100-200 for windows is a high price? How many thousands of people VERY INTELLIGENT work for Microsoft? They've got to eat. You only have to buy it once, too, and many computer manufacturers (dell/compaq/hp/etc) get discounts on Microsoft software because they buy in such massive numbers.

Any company can win in court if they have the right money and a plausable argument. It doesn't matter who they are. Hell, in fact Microsoft just lost (less than 3 years ago) a lawsuit against the Lindows company.

Joker: Windows XP doesn't sit on top of DOS. I'm very impressed with Mac's newer OS's. I might consider buying one if it could run windows apps and they weren't 2-3x the cost of windows machines.

on the dos thing i was under the impression that xp was built on nt and not dos. it still has a command prompt that functions in many ways like dos but is not dos. also i have no first hand experience on the mac's new os but all ive heard is good things

I have to do fresh installs every 6-12 months, because of installing all kinds of goodies then changing my mind and taking them off. They seem to leave a residue that gums up my computer's motor.

Other than that, I hate Microsoft for all those same reasons LordCleavage mentioned. It's like Wal*Mart. You hate it because it's a virtual monopoly and it has too much power, but just a little less hate than it would take to stop being a customer.

But Wal*Mart is awesome. I mean come on, read Sam's life story. It's true American success. He built up from nothing to a huge empire! and he was a nice guy, well in some ways. Wal*Mart is cool, except when you go in for one thing you come out with twenty..:)

I hate Macs. I have them at school and I'll tell you they ALWAYS have errors. That thing freezes up when I have this site open and another website running. We have to restart those things constantly and they always give me unexpected errors. I dunno if this happens to all Macs. It could just be the fact that 2,500 kids are on these things each day and may not treat it the best.

i hate my local walmarts (notice the plural as there everywhere) enough that i F*CK around whenever im in there (which is often). first time i got cought. we filled up 2 and a half carts with random shit and were ditching them, and we cleared out all the curling irons. now im a bit more sutil in my attacks. such as moving the cd name things around, moving shit around, ect. on the plus side they do have everyday low prices

Walmart owns. It's free entertainment. Hell, Mandy and I have been known to visit walmart 3-4 times in one single weekend just to go dick around and act like retards.
