It's your power supply.

Type "regedit" and start deleting things in there which dont make sense. It's probably slowing your computer down.

Choose whatever file you want. Just remember which one you choose. Restart steam.....then go to your library and it should be there

Its your processor.
It's most likely dry; try lubricating it with spit.

 Re: helpmeouthereforlilbit?kthnxbye
i've seen this problem, it's actually caused by too many pins on your processor. your systems getting overloaded with information.
here's how i fixed it: tools required are a pair of small wire cutters. take out your processor and, starting from the upper right-most pin, start cutting off pins, one by one, testing to see if it starts working after each pin removed. should solve all your life's problems.

 Re: helpmeouthereforlilbit?kthnxbye
You guys are all wrong. The problem is with the Hard Drive, the file system has become dirty and you need to clean it. Remove the hard drive and let it soak overnight in a mixture of 2 parts bleach, and 2 parts water. In the morning place the Hard Drive in the oven and bake it at 450 degrees for about an hour to dry it out. Once its good and dry put it back in the PC and boot up...problem solved.
