I can understand your idea here, but it just wouldn't work. n00bfest requires more than just shitty tweet api's built in to endless web-server crashes, "server busy"s and forgotten password/adware/injected ad bullshit. Facebook just doesn't suit n00bfest, or should I say n00bfest doesn't suit Facebook.

I think it would be cool, I've programed sites to be like that, not that it would remove the forums or anything just expand on the profile side of things, people could list the servers they play it, youtube videos. hell I setup a demo site for you guys so you can see what I'm talking about. visual is always better... We pretty much make everything from scratch here at n00bfest. Honestly, we don't really fit an audience that Facebook supports. Though I wouldn't call n00bfest the "underground", we certainly won't be going mainstream in order to attract members. There's nothing that Facebook or any social networking site can do, that we can't, but there's plenty we can that they can't! PHPBB3 is so much better than Facebook's half-assed attempt at a forum. Hell, I didn't even know they had forums, and that alone is exactly what I'm talking about. More than half the people on Facebook are still on Facebook because of family and Farmville. We don't attract that kind of audience.

I understand that, I'm not a fan of facebook, or myspace. but I think a gamer twist on that might be fun, especially if we put a n00bfest twist to it.
