I would've had a healthy discussion on the topic had the first person to disagree with me not be so vehemently defending his personal opinion, regarding it as fact, and declining any other interpretations, ideas, or opinions as even in the realm of possibility. Just because you feel that you don't need a gun, doesn't mean that my life is also like yours and therefore I don't need a gun either. Because guess what? I do.

If you don't want one, then don't buy one. But, it's a completely different matter for you to decide what's best for me.

You are obviously not me. You don't know what I "need" or what I don't "need," nor is it for you to decide. It's not about "need" anyway. No one "needs" a car that goes over the speed limit. But we don't ban all sports cars and motorcycles because no one "needs" to go that fast. We punish those who use the tool improperly, not merely for owning and possessing the tool.

I guess my question to you is, do you actually think you have a right to dictate what's best for me?

If so, why do you think you have any right to do that? Especially in a free country no less. I am not telling you how you should live your life or what you "need" or don't "need." So, why can't you just let me live my life the way I want to and stop forcing me to be like you?

Well while you're on this misinformed judgement of my information on the topic let me remind you that I did provide factual information provided by the FBI crime statistics showing the rate of homicide and frequency in which handguns specifically are used. However those factual statistics were completely ignored and countered by stoners subjective opinion(or jut completely ignored and not addressed). At the point where I realized even facts, not opinions, were in stoners eyes irrelevent, I decided to edit all my posts and end the discussion on my part. If you want to come in and act like a know it all HOMOSEXUAL like stoner, you two can circle jerk each others glocks until you do more harm to yourself owning them than you would ever be able to prevent. But at least know what was going on in the conversation before you get that far.
