 Re: vote kick?
I feel there is a plus and minus to having this. On one hand say we have a good player in the server sans admins and if enough people get annoyed with him they might and start a kick vote. Obviously the positive is for players to eradicate players that are not following server rules and/or hacking.

People will most likely abuse that privilege if given

 Re: vote kick?
I can't even imagine abuse of the system being a problem if this was implemented.
Sure, maybe at 5 AM when there are no admins around, but who the F*CK really wants to play at that time?

It was more likely that the admins simply didn't notice their screen filling up with "Assfuck attacked a teammate" and then got butthurt when the players kicked the moron.

 Re: vote kick?
Votekick is not a tool for the main n00bfest server at all, like rok says "this aint leetfest" people in the n00bfest server in the majority of time are just people that want to have fun or goof off, i mean have you seen the polls when gman or any other admins asks something silly??, if so you would know that if this guys had the chance to kick people they will do it no matter if he deserves it or not and yeah i feel that coming to me and i dont have cancel vote, so sorry i dont support this idea.

 Re: vote kick?
I support this, because I love getting kicked early in the morning by a few people in another clan who feel like F*CKING with everyone and keeping the server to themselves.
In all seriousness, votekick can work when the server has a decent population already, but in that situation there's usually an admin online anyway (either on the server or steam friends) so it's still kinda useless.

I am sure they would have it setup so that admins would not get kicked. I agree with the latter statement you make.

 Re: vote kick?
There is no need for votekick at this time. There are other things being done to remedy the situation when there are no admins.
Either way, votekick won't help you if there's a mic spammer/hacker, as they'll just keep rejoining. Getting kicked doesn't keep you out of the server for any period of time -- it just disconnects you. You can just 'retry' your way back in.
Basically, votekick = useless.

 Re: vote kick?
I think it is best like others said to have admin friends that can help you when you need. I need to begin befriending soon.

I just made that point 'cause that's what used to happen to me when our old COD4 server had votekick enabled. It made it a pain in the ass to increase server traffic.
