Counter Strike - Big frame rate drop.
Alright guys, I haven't been playin CS:S a lot lately, but the other day I jumped back on the server...the only problem was that for some reason, my frame rate has dropped down to ~30fps. I decided to bump down the graphics and see what happened, and with everything on the lowest settings, I got EVEN LESS fps. Any ideas as to why this is happening? I used to get at least 60-70 fps on all high settings. Specs:

Re: Counter Strike - Big frame rate drop.
have you updated your drivers? Sometimes newer drivers really can screw you if your using older hardware. Also try verifying and defragging your game files through steam. Other than that i would say defrag/virus sweep.
Also with the recent update in css many folks are having numerous issues ranging from connection problems to Fps

Thanks Clorox, I think I'm just gonna reformat after my last final. It's been a while since I cleaned this puppy out anyways.
