I agree with you 100% dude. I think I grew up at just the right time not to give 2 shits about TV since the good shows were out when I was like 13 and under. I'm almost 20 now. F*CK American Idol. I'm trying to raise my little sister not to be ignorant like the majority of the kids and I see some progress. Next thing I gotta do is ban certain channels and step 2 is initiated. I don't understand how can people care more about what's going on in some shitty TV show than how stupid their government is. BTW I am doing something about it. I am now dept free and cutting up all my credit cards! I only have my mortgage now which will be paid off in 7 years. I am also planning my next move to get away from population centers (possibly out of country) and get off the power grid with a custom designed green home. I can't control the govt and/or other angry nations/extremist etc., but I sure can prepare for the worst and remove and protect myself from financial impact and relocate away from the center of all the shit storm when it goes down. the thing that bothers me is when i see these stupid F*CKING tea party protests on the news, i see a bunch of douchebags dressed up like we are in the 1700's. people with teabags taped to their faces. would you take someone seriously if he came up to you with a F*CKING teabag taped to his face? people are pissed off. but the best they can do is turn a protest into a little fad for the media and world to watch for 5 min and change the channel. none of what anyone is doing is showing me that we are in DIRE need of change. when you see riots in the streets, bread lines, and police states, then REAL action will come.

i concur. my friends and i have been looking into land in texas where we can do exactly this. plus texas has more balls about fighting the federal gov't and staying as sovereign as possible.
