 20/20 FAIL.
20/20 this past friday had a special called "If I only had a gun," basically liberal media bullshit on anti-gun. Watch in disgust as I did. I really feel like raging but its late and if I begin raging I wont sleep and I've got work in the morning. Ill probably rage tomorrow when I come home.

see, i don't like that. I call myself a democrat, i voted for obama, i agree more with the liberal side of things but i am NOT anti gun. No Sir. I have a 12ga. pump shotgun and i'm looking to add to my firearm collection. i hate this anti gun bull shit. Canada has more guns per person than the US but the US has roughly 157 times the amount of gun related crimes per year. What does that tell you? instating drastic gun control policies and/or re-amending the 2nd amendment to disallow civilian gun ownership is not the f*cking answer. as the late great Charlton Heston said "From my cold, dead hands!"

I turned it off after the cop talked about how people associate violence in video games to real life violence and how video games influence thier real life actions.
What they need to do is give these kids something to do other than play video games all the damn time.
They need to extend school hours obviously parents can't/don't watch their kids very closely.
I'm not saying school has to be all studying but there is no reason the day can't be split up between classes/eating/'fun time'
i'll watch the rest of this later, maybe.
liberal faggots.

Lord, don't keep'em in school longer. Its a socialist ideology breeding ground. I say if you have to depend on school or daycare because you can't have a parent at home then you should not have kids.

Thats not reality. Reality is that kids are not gettin any supervision at home and are vulnerable to outside influences and personal curiosity. Also, Americans are not getting a good education when compared to similar countries.
The entire school system needs to be overhauled. When I say extend school hours I'm not talking about school as we know it. I'm talking about after a massive overhaul of the entire system.

kids aren't getting the supervision at home, because that's how they set it up! they pushed for "equal rights" so BOTH parents are working generating income, specifically income tax, while their children are in school learning how to become drones just like their parents. they tax us so much that families can't afford to have a stay-at-home parent. i don't think longer school isn't the answer. teaching our children (and parents) the power of responsibility and accountability is. no one is accountable for anything anymore, so kids aren't taught the morals and values they should be taught.

They do it because they have to. The Federal Reserve is creating inflation and the cost of living is rising substantially thanks to inflation.

lol, this whole post changed subjects from the attack on out second amendment to bratty little kids. Truth is kids are curious and will always be there's nothing we can do about that. What I think we could do as parents and gun owners is when you have small kids from newborn-5 years old is 'teach," them about the guns. Try to get them used to the fact that there and not something that's hidden in a drawer. As well as when they're that young I think it is a good idea to have a safe/cabinet or some form of secure storage. In my home I keep all my guns loaded and waiting for the one day when someone chooses the wrong house to invade. I keep all my stuff in a gun cabinet which only I and my wife have a key and it is hidden in the room in only a place we both know. Once those kids are older 6-80 years old is teach them proper gun safety and handling and maintenance and everything in between. Leave nothing on your gun unexplored to reduce the risk of running into an accident. You teach them to clear a rifle and clear a pistol; how to never point at someone unless your going to kill them; and never putting your finger on the trigger until your ready to shoot. "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail."
As for keeping them in school all day that is possibly the worst thing that could happen. Schools are filled with mindless F*CKING retards who will feed mindless liberal bullshit and we will get more F*CK heads like the great messiah Obama as president..
"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government" - Thomas Jefferson
The Proper Handling And Use of Weapons - Man's ultimate tool, with a capacity for good and evil almost beyond comprehension, is the ultimate test of maturity and, indeed, wisdom. - Anonymous
From the time you pick up a firearm, you become a part of a system over which you have complete control. You are the only part of the system that can make a gun safe or unsafe. A firearm is only an instrument. It contains no evil, no conscience, and no ability. It is strictly the intent , competence, and character of its user that decides the outcome of any and all actions taken with it. Remember: no gun can be made accident-proof. A gun is just a machine, with no judgment of its own. It responds to your actions, whether wise or foolish. The only truly effective safety device is the mind of a cautious person who never forgets that a moment's carelessness can produce permanent tragedy.

you're right virus. this thread did evolve rather quickly.
this segment on 20/20 is more propaganda to try and scare americans into wanting guns to be banned, so we won't fight as much when the gov't tries taking them from us.

I completely agree with Virus.
Send your kids to private school or homeschool them while fighting to change the public school system.
If children really are our future, why are we preparing them to be stupid?
