I'd like to know more about donation. I'm new to CS:S ''about 2 week of play'' and i've been playin on n00bfest server ''the best i've found on source for sure Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02 '' and i'd like too help them to keep this community alive as much longer as possible. The amout we see (300 $), is that the due to pay every months or it's an amout to pay every year? Where this cash goes for? Sincerely i'd like too give an amout but i'd like to know much more about it. I hope someone of n00b could give me some answer. Maybe it will incite other people like me to give a donation.

$300 a month goes to Corpse's personal fund that he will eventually flee to Mexico with.

Naw. It goes to keep the servers alive. Corpse fronts his own cash for the site and whatever is left on the servers for the month.

Here's a little of the details behind the madness:

Somewhere between $125 - $160 a month in server charges, depending on what we have running that month.

$30 a month for the website hosting service (because of our traffic, we have to pay for semi-dedicated services)

About $200 a year for numerous n00b and n00bfest related domain name renewals.

$50 a month in service fees for things like ServerSpy stats subscriptions, fileplanet membership subscriptions, and several other monthly services that we pay for to support the community.

At a minimum, the entire "community" costs about $250 a month to run. Any excess gets carried over because we don't always make the minimum each month. We need some overflow to maintain a positive balance.

Wow ! I did'nt imagine that the cost of hosting a website and server and many other outside was so expensive! Thanks to you those who run all of this! As I said before, i'm new to CS:S but not as a gamer (a Quake 2 Veteran Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02 ) but in online gaming, I haven't seen a lot of complete website like yours and all these quality inside, especially people around all of this! i would donate every month but my boss cut my hours back and i need all the money i can get every month so i getting a new job so i can say F*CK U MOTHERFUCKER something along thos lines lol
