My brother leaves in 3 hours (8 AM EST) for Switzerland.

He'll be living in Lugano, one of the nicest cities and top vacation-spots in the world. He'll be playing Top Division basketball (national and international) primarily for the Lugano Tigers.

He and I are extremely close, and he's the guy who basically taught me anything I know about basketball. He's a good friend and I'm really going to miss him.

I realize this isn't the best venue to kind of get this off of my chest, but; although I'm extremely proud of him, I'm very sad to see him leave.

He finally made it as a professional athlete, which had been his life-long dream, and I can't express how proud of him I am. He's shown me what ambition and drive can do to change somebody's life forever.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be around much here for a couple days. I'll either do nothing but this stupid game to get my mind off of things, or I'll be away from it entirely, trying to sort some of my own s**t out.
