OMG ! I just watched a Smash Lab episode... Its F*CKING crap! They rip off every aspect of Mythbusters, But the things they "do" aren't even worthwhile ideas. I mean, the Mythbusters aren't figuring out the cure for cancer...but their show is entertaining because they use a scientific approach to everything they do. Smash lab just kinda guesses about stuff. Even the Smash labs narrator guy sounds like the Mythbusters guy. I'm not a die hard Mythbusters fan but I felt bad for them having a couple of posers rip off their idea... the show is so gay, one of the Smash Lab guys is even named "Gadget" like he's extra smart or something... I hope they try Smashing a truckload of fertilizer Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_46. Their show is a rip off and their characters are lame!

Ive never seen an episode of smash lab but I (less than 3) mythbusters... they rock my sox

This is sorta the same situation with Man vs. Wild and Survivorman.

Except.... Survivorman owns and Man vs. Wild has a camera crew.

Yeah I agree but people argue the entertainment value where MvW is more fun to watch for alot of people (not me). My opinion is that Survivorman came first and they made Man vs. Wild to feed off it's "survivor" popularity. I was really pissed when I saw the first few commercials for MvW on tv.

Most people think that survival / wilderness survival is entertaining, hence the popularity of garbage shows like Survivor and MvW. Most people who have spent time in the wild bushwacking/surviving would prefer something like Survivorman or Mantracker. (does America get Mantracker?)

Smashlab is boring shit. Mythbusters is entertaining.

Survivorman / Man vs. Wild:
Bear could rip Les in half. Both shows have a unique perspective.

I like all those shows though. You guys watch Fight Quest or Last One Standing?

The thing is, Bear will show you how to get out of a situation he spots one, even if he's not in that situation, he'll put himself in that situation just to show you how to get out of it.
