Hey all. Its up in the air if private servers are ilegal or not. lol most people say they arnt. and the rest could care less.

However i am starting a private server with a good friend of mine. If anyone would like to play and dont want to pay, we can hook you up. Mention to me that your a n00b and well hook ya up with some nice gear :P

i already play on a private server wowscape they have a lot of ppl and 4 diffrent kind of serves usally 4000 ppl on at a time on each server its free i dont play that much but id like to join scotty

Private servers are legal as long as you don't allow anyone to connect to them outside of you.

Private servers are for bads imo.

they are only illegal if your makin gmoney off of it through subscriptions or what ever... thats why they all have a "DONATION" option instead

though im sure some copyright legal stuff might be in the grey area

For wowscape, is there any enhanced stuff? Like more experienced gained? Or is it WoW, just free?

Most of the wow private servers have a normal Blizz rate server, then a "fun" server with 10x experiance and higher item drop rates, etc.

i play on the bliz like settings , though the only thing it does have is

wowlegion
a) portals
b) 2x drop
everythign else is bliz like

wowcrack
is instant lvl 60.. that was enough for me not to wanna play on it since i had never played wow before wowscape

i started to play retail.. and actually seems wowscape gives u more xp for quests than i though :P

Get a friend to recruit you for retail and level together for 3x exp.

My friend got to level 60 in 15 hours total play :\

well i did bring in a friend but we both upgraded from the trial for the cheaper price so no referal bonus

The legality of private servers is still up in the air with Blizzard, but some companies are suing private servers for breaking their policies (such is the case of Nexon, for MapleStory).

In terms of WoWScape, it is a good ps. While the more popular ones tend to get a little laggy due to total players, some realms are realistic (as close as 3x everything), up to instant lvl 70 (with donor gear possible).

I just joined s0x in retail WoW and like it much better. I suggest only playing ps if the slowness gets to you.
