6. For asking why the player above got banned.
7. Warning stated that person who sprayed gay spray would get banned. Makino got banned but it wasn't his spray. So I asked why Strange banned him and told him he had the wrong guy. Strange got pissed off and said "Shut up or I'll ban you too" followed by "Telling a n00b he can't ban someone". I replied with "That's admin abuse..." and then i got banned too. This is my favourite server and i've been playing here since i started playing source. This is my first time being banned and for such a lame reason too.

You shouldn't have told a n00b he can't ban someone....

thats the thing i didnt. i just asked why he banned him. and thats how he replied. i didnt say he cant ban people.
this is what i asked:

i answered that. i didnt say he cant ban someone. i asked him WHY he banned him if he wasnt the one spraying the picture of the naked guy.
and as far as i kno, when i got banned, the person with the naked dude spray was still there. while makino and i had to pay for his actions.
all we wanna do is play some source, we're not here to cause trouble.

i dont kno if this helps at all but this is as close to as what i can remember happening. i don't recall it 100% but it goes something along the lines of this:

Strange: If i see that naked guy spray again im banning whoever sprayed it.
(a few minutes later after the new round has started, in terrorist spawn, we see the spray of the naked guy. covering the majority of that spray was Makino's spray. i assume he just sprayed it ontop because i saw him backing away and about to rush out, as i was going to follow him. he then gets banned)

im assuming he was banned because strange maybe thought makino was the one who sprayed the naked guy.

both of us wanted to kno if it WAS a mistake, so i asked:
SK-XIII: he didn't spray that gay spray...
SK-XIII: why did he get banned?

this was followed by Strange's reply:
Strange: Shut up or I'll ban you too
Strange: Telling a n00b he can't ban someone

i didn't say that he couldn't tho, i was jus asking if that was why he was banned and tried to explain that it wasn't him. and because i didn't see a reason why i should've been banned as well, and got a ban threat i said:
SK-XIII: that's admin abuse

right after that i was banned from the server.

Our spray tracker isn't 100% accurate when people spray over other sprays, but if pointed at one innocent person, it was a correctable mistake.

You went on to make an issue out of it. We've had an annoying large rash of children coming in and disrespecting the admins.

Admin abuse is when admins use their power to make the game fun for them instead of for the players. An admin using the power to make judgment calls isn't abuse, it's justice.

This post, though, has no bearing on whether or not you'll be unbanned. I'm merely stating some things from my position as a fellow admin with Strange.

i second the motion to unban

i understand that it may have been a mistake but i just wanted to try to straighten it out as quickly as possible. the night had just begun so we didn't want to stop playing just yet.
also like you said, it's justice. i wasn't very fond of seeing the naked dude spray either, so i did want to help stop it.
i think i just caught strange at the wrong time. the straw that broke the camel's back i guess.

either way i thank you guys for your support and hope this will b resolved soon. you guys are fun to play with, thats why we always come back.

Someone unban this guy.From now on SK-XIII just play your own game and let the admins do there jobs.Im sure you meant no harm but when you question admins about there decisions sometimes it comes off looking like you have a problem with it.As for the guy that got banned for the spray all he needs to do is to promise not to do it again and he can be unbanned.Porn sprays are forbidden here,im sure he was warned before he was banned.
